Kiridashi with Orange and Black Suretouch G10 and AEB-L stainless steel
These Kiridashis are based on the traditional Japanese design that was commonly used as an all round utility knife as well as for layout in fine woodwork and other crafts. I have developed this design to be more user friendly and suited to everyday utility tasks.
This variant has a secondary bevel on the single grind for a more resilient edge. I also do kiridashis with the traditional zero grind for finer craft work upon request.
Made from AEB-L stainless steel with Stonewashed flats on the bevel side and brushed on the other.
This one sports some orange and black Suretouch G10 handle scales, Suretouch G10 is a combination of layers of G10 and Rubber giving a bit more grip when wet.
Comes with a black Kydex neck sheath. Or a leather slip sheath that can also be put onto a belt.
